What this is, and what it isn't
We hold the keys, and we say so plainly. This isn't end-to-end encryption: Tapestry has to handle your photos to build your views and to make sure only the right people see them.
Sharing on your terms
Visible only to you and the people you choose.
Stopping a share ends access through Tapestry at once. A photo link that was already opened works only until it expires, shortly after. Anything someone has already downloaded or screenshotted can't be called back, and we'd rather say so.
When you delete something
- Removed from view — immediately
- Recoverable until a stated date
- Permanently deleted from active storage
- Gone from backups by a stated date
